Candle Care & Safety

Candle Care & Safety

A little care helps your candle burn cleanly and safely, from the first light to the last.

For the Best Burn

  • First burn: let the wax melt all the way to the edges (about 2–3 hours) to prevent tunneling.
  • Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before every burn.
  • Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Stop using the candle when about 1/2 inch of wax remains.

⚠️ WARNING — Fire Safety

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Keep away from anything that can catch fire, such as curtains, paper or furniture.
  • Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts.
  • Do not move the candle while it is lit or while the wax is liquid.
  • The glass jar becomes hot while burning. Allow it to cool before touching.
  • Extinguish if the flame becomes too high, smokes, or flickers repeatedly.

After the Last Burn

Once the candle is finished and cool, remove leftover wax with warm water, and reuse the glass jar for flowers, makeup brushes or small treasures.
